D. Linn Wiley, President and Chief Executive Officer of CVB Financial Corp. and Citizens Business Bank, has been appointed to a three-year term to the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

"Linn is viewed as one of the top community bankers in our state," said Mark Mullinx, Executive Vice President of the Los Angeles Branch, "and his perspectives on the industry and our regional economy should prove most valuable in deliberations on monetary policy."

At their monthly meetings, Federal Reserve Bank directors provide information on local economic conditions for use by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve in setting interest rates.

"I am thrilled to have this opportunity to participate in our economic system," said Wiley. "It will provide me with additional exposure to monetary policy, and I will do my best to make a contribution."

Wiley has served as President and Chief Executive of CVB Financial Corp. and Citizens Business Bank since 1991. The Bank is one of the largest in Southern California with 30 offices and approximately $2.3 billion in assets.

Prior to joining Citizens Business Bank, Wiley was Executive Vice President of Wells Fargo Bank, President of American National Bank and Executive Vice President of Lloyds Bank California (now Sanwa Bank of California).

He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in economics from the University of California at Davis, Master of Business Administration in Finance and Management from California State University at Long Beach, and completed the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management at Harvard University and the Graduate School of Sales and Management and Marketing at Syracuse University.

In addition, Wiley is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
