Roger Ehrnman

Roger Ehrnman, Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, brings more than 30 years of regulatory, compliance, and risk management experience to his role. Roger joined Citizens Business Bank in May 2026, having previously worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as a Senior Examiner for large financial institutions. In 2004, Roger left government service to create and lead the Regulatory Risk Management Department at a mortgage and commercial real estate financial institution. He returned to government service in 2008 as a Senior Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and later rejoined the FDIC, where he served as the Regulatory Accounting and Capital Markets Specialist for the Los Angeles territory.

Roger earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from California State University, San Bernardino, where he graduated with honors. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School (PCBS) at the University of Washington, and his thesis paper was placed in the PCBS permanent library.
