Susan M. Mlot

Susan Mlot, Executive Vice President & Head of Operations, has over 30 years of experience in providing strategic leadership for operational and risk management, digital transformation, and business process efficiencies for several financial institutions. Susan joined Northern Trust Corporation in 1999 as Vice President in Chicago, Illinois. During her 17 years at Northern Trust, she was promoted to the role of Senior Vice President of Global Operations, being tasked to lead, develop, and grow the company’s bank operations in Bangalore, India. Prior to joining Citizens Business Bank in July of 2020, Susan served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Operations for Investors Bank in the New York City area. Susan has led treasury management, payment, deposit, and loan operations, as well as managed call centers and product teams, with a focus on leveraging technology to provide best-in-class solutions.

Susan earned her Master of Business Administration in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago. She is also a graduate of Northern Illinois University, where she received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Operations Management. In 2017, Susan founded Faith In The Brooke, a non-profit orphanage in India, where she currently serves as a board member. Susan is also an active volunteer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and Inland Empire, where she serves as a mentor.
